National Free Donut Day was instituted in 1938 to commemorate Salvation Army workers who surprised soldiers with donut deliveries. Today, it’s marked by a nationwide flurry of freebies from national donut chains.
Dunkin Donuts offers a FREE donut when you purchase a beverage of your choice from any of their locations, nationwide.
Here in Lebanon, we have several choices of locations. Not ONE Dunkin Donut within the borders of our town, however there are three in Rochester and three in Sanford, so no matter which direction you're heading, you can take advantage of the donut giant's giveaway!!
