A former member of the Lebanon Rescue Department back in 2013 has confirmed the fact that Chief Samantha Cole and Assistant Chief Jason Cole had, indeed planned to have the town vote on staffing the Rescue Department on a full time basis.
As a matter of fact, they still had the ALREADY printed up brochure that the Coles had planned on using to convince the voters that this was an idea who's time had come!!
Read the attached materials and let the Cole Family convince you that funding our Fire and Rescue Department's plans on a 24 hour staffed Station!!
Once you see the expense that was laid out before the question had even been placed on the ballot, the cries about Chief Daniel Meehan's "unfair" tax burdens on the Town of Lebanon by funding a 24 hour staffed Fire and Rescue Department will seem like the nonsense that it is.
This IS an idea that's time has come for Lebanon Maine. With over 7,000 residents now in our town, it's time to give the protection that 24 hour coverage would bring!!
