As we have all heard, the telescoping flagpole at the Blaisdell Corner Rescue Station, is broken and needs to be replaced.
Lebanon Maine Truth Seekers, with permission from Lebanon Selectmen, are looking for your help in fixing that situation.
We are asking for the people of Lebanon to make a contribution to the EMS FLAGPOLE FUNDRAISER kicking off today, July23, 2015.
Included on this page is the estimate from Yankee Flagpole in the amount of $841.32. This estimate is for a 25 foot high fiberglass flagpole with a simple gold ball on the top. (as agreed with Lebanon Fire and Rescue Chief Daniel Meehan is his choice). As you can see, this estimate includes all installation costs, as well as an American Flag, POW MIA Flag, and EMS Flag. The estimate also includes the cost of shipping to the Blaisdell Corner Rescue Building.
We chose Yankee as they have a long history of providing quality flag poles to New England area municipalities, AND because their flag poles are all made in nearby New Hampshire. 100% American Made.
It is our goal to have that amount in time to plan on a Labor Day Weekend Gathering at the Blaisdell Corner Station to celebrate the first raising of the flag on the new fiberglass 25 foot tall flagpole.
All donators will receive a receipt for their contributions and each will be mentioned on Lebanon Maine Truth Seekers Facebook Page. You may also choose to make an Anonymous donation or donate in memory or honor of another person.
A running total of all donations will be kept on the Lebanon Maine Truth Seekers Facebook page.
