Lebanon Fire and EMS Congratulates Members on Passing Ambulance Vehicles Operators Course (AVOC)

We would like to send out a huge Congratulations to Matt Morrissey, Matt O'Conner and Isaac Howes  of the Lebanon Fire and EMS, on passing their AVOC Class today.

Matt Morrissey is brand new to the department, he will be attending FFI&II in December.

Matt O'Connor is one of our soon to be EMT's he is waiting for his testing dates and also enrolled in FFI&II in December.

Isaac Howes is a new Advanced EMT to the Department and also enrolled into FFI&II in December.

AVOC stands for  Ambulance Vehicle Operators Course. This was a weekend course held in North Berwick. Students learned to safely drive an ambulance in an emergency situation, Title 29 and how it relates to emergency driving and hands on driver training with an ambulance through a cones course. Before any new member can drive a Lebanon emergency vehicle there are department driving requirements that have to be completed.
