Obituaries: Timothy D. Chick

Timothy D. Chick, 57, of West Newfield, passed away at his home on Friday January 8, 2016.

He was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on December 19, 1958 a son of Richard and Patricia (Clark) Chick. He grew up in Kittery and attended local schools, graduating from Traip Academy in 1976.

Timothy enjoyed the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed boating and water skiing. When he was younger he was active in the Boy Scouts. He also had an eye for photography. Tim stood for what he believed in. He will be remembered as a kind and caring man and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Richard A. Chick, his sister, Katherine A. Chick.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Chick of West Newfield, one brother, John Chick and his wife, Kim of Lebanon, Maine, nephew, Justin Chick of Eliot, great nephew, Caden Chick of Eliot, aunt, Alice Burnsed of St. George, Georgia, cousin, Susan Turner and her husband, Willard, daughter Rebecca Ann Chick.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, January 11th from 5 to 7PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 4PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring at Brooks Memorial Cemetery in Eliot.
