Free Community Meal: Curtis Lake Church, 23 Westview Drive, Sanford has a free meal every Monday evening from 5:00 to 5:30 pm, and then again on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 5:30. Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared fresh and served family style at linen covered tables. Every effort is taken to preserve dignity for families. The Curtis Lake community meal program is made possible by donations to the Curtis Lake Benevolence Fund and the Good Shepherd Food Bank. The North Parish Church at 893 Main St. Sanford offers a free meal every 3rd Thursday of the month from 5:50 to 6:30 pm. All welcome for good food, good people and good fellowship.
Faith Christian Center on Washington Street in Sanford also offers a meal free to the public on Friday nights. Join them at 6:30 pm for good food and good conversation. For more information call (207) 793-8444.
