The Portland Sea Dogs will be hosting flannel night at Hadlock Field on Tuesday, June 2nd, for their game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:00 PM.
Let's see if we can set a world record for most fans wearing flannel at a sporting event!
The Sea Dogs are encouraging all fans to join them in celebrating flannel by wearing flannel to the game. Fans who wear flannel to the game will be permitted to have a photo taken in the Sea Dogs dugout from 5:30 to 6:15 PM.
The first 1,000 fans to arrive at the ballpark will also receive a flannel bandana.
Not a fan of flannel? Let us help, bring your flannel shirts to the ballpark and we will donate them to Goodwill.
Plus, Maine's own Timber Tina from the Great Maine Lumberjack Show will be at Hadlock Field to entertain fans prior to the game with Underhand Chopping, CrossCut Sawing, and Chainsaw demonstrations.
